This morning, my parents had to go to a doctor's appointment, so I made myself breakfast. I like cooking, and I want to get better at it.

Breakfast was nice and simple, just a bowl of oatmeal. I tried the peaches and cream flavor and it tasted really nice. I'm not sure if I made it in the best way, since I didn't have time to let it sit and soak in the water for as long. But it still tasted good. Breakfast was around 110 calories.

For lunch, my Mom made dumplings again, and I had 8 large ones with Chinese black vinegar. They had a shrimp, egg, and chives filling, and tasted very good. I think lunch was somewhere around 400 calories.

I didn't have a snack at 3:30 today, because I was working on a project for my data structures class, and was in a video call with my partner from 3:00 all the way until 5:45. We were able to get a lot done, which is good. I've been struggling with my productivity recently, so I was very happy to have a good work session.

For dinner, I had a huge bowl of hot pot soup! It had beef, fish balls, vegetables, tofu, and some rice noodles. It was very filling, but only 450 calories or so! I couldn't finish the whole bowl, but I ate until I was full.

After dinner, we walked Sparky, and played three rounds of cards and five rounds of cornhole.

I had a blueberry yogurt at 8:45, and at 9:30, I had a slice of dark chocolate raspberry cake, half a PBJ, a Nutri-Grain bar, an ice cream sandwich, and a small bowl of veggie chips. This was 835 calories in total, meaning I ate 1795 calories today. I'm wondering if this number is too little, too much, or just right. I guess I'll monitor my energy and hunger levels for the next few days, but I still can't tell the difference between being actually hungry, versus just my mind having cravings.
